Dining at Jembisa  is always an occasion enjoyed in a wide variety of locations such as bush brunches, al fresco breakfasts on the verandah, luxury picnic lunches, dinners under the stars, camp fire suppers and many more.

Our chefs David, Cliff and Portia delight in creating meals that are international, with a local twist. A typical dinner would be kudu carpaccio with rocket served with homemade marula jelly and freshly baked warm sesame rolls, followed by local beef fillet served in layered  ‘tower’ of beefsteak tomato, roast butternut, and squashed potatoes, all speared through with a porcupine quill. Pudding could be homemade mango sorbet with passion fruit mousse.

Children's Meals

Children can be catered for separately at times to suit the party, or they are welcome to join their families. Childrens' menus include excitements such as zebra burgers (beef cooked in stripes rather than zebra itself!).

Kitchen Garden
We have our own kitchen garden, overseen by our green-fingered Chef, which produces salads and vegetables all year round. Key task here - keep the fencing (top and sides) secure against the monkeys and porcupine who also enjoy a rocket leaf or two or the whole patch.
